So in extremis, to gain +60% on the roll, you'd take 500 hours on the sword, 60 hours on the dagger? That much care and attention put into the blade, you'd expect the thing to dance and fight on its own.
LOL! Might agree with you on that one. It's why I started looking closer at crafting time. It will change my opinion of how that works. The book suggests that if you want a better item though you need better materials too. Just an fyi.
I have a player who wants to take craft chemistry too but I am having a hard time coming up with costs of black powder or poisons for example. He'll get screwed trying to find the ingredients as it is but doesn't realize that yet.
