so there main RQ rulebook has rune magic, but mentions others.

divine magic & sorcery are in the companion

where's shamanic magic, dragon magic, and demonology?

are there other types published as well?

Well both Elric and Lankmar have different magic systems too. and I would guess so does Hawkmoon but im not familiar with that game. And Sceptune games has rule for what they refer to as petty magic. I kind of like the different magic system myself as magic should be looked at as an art with every culture going about it in a different way.

Shamanic (or Spirit) magic is in Cults 2
Dragon magic is in Magic of Glorantha

I believe there are rules for demonology in Elric, although I've yet to purchase that one.

Demonology and elementalism are both in Elric, with a huge expansion to include runes and other forms in Magic of the Young Kingdoms.

There will also be a more generic form of demonology in the GMs' Guide, along with alchemy.

Necromancy is getting a whole book to itself...

Be sure to check out RuneQuest Spellbook. It should be available in the next few weeks. Spellbook contains over 600 spells and goes into Rune Magic, Divine Magic, Sorcery, Legendary magic and Legendary Miracles. It also covers further magical professions and backgrounds.

Dear All,

When are we going to get the remaining Gloranthan magic types?

These being:

1. Eastern Mysticism (it's sort of covered in 'Magic of Glorantha' - only a bit of extra work needed to make it non-draconic);

2. Extra detail on Teshnan beliefs (to make Teshnan characters playable - the Teshnan snippets in 'Players Guide to Glorantha' only whetted the appetite);

3. The cult (and pantheon) of Ompalam and some info on other Pamaltelan religions including Umathela;

4. East Isles Dream Magic (never been covered).

These would certainly help round out the setting.

All the best

Next few weeks? It's still showing as a September release on your front page, and there's only 10 days left!
