Differences in . 50 cards.

How come the .50 -cal on the M1 tank does the " If every model in the target unit is assigned two or more Damage Dice when this weapon is used, the unit will lose two actions from Suppression, rather than just one." thing but the .50-cal on the HMMWV doesn't

Not sure. I do not have that card in front of me to check. I ask you, why does the HMMVW have a lower target than a civilian pick up truck?? That is just the way it is made I guess. Either that or it is a typo, just like the Osprey card when it came out was full of mistakes, which they tell me has been fixed.

The card does say that "Every Damage Dice this weapon rolls will count as two for the purposes of Suppression only". I thought that having 2 dice per model counting as double suppression was a regular rule, not a card specific rule. It should still count as double anyway.

The M1 has better targeting capabilities? A tank is more intimidating than a HMMWV? Game balance? Magic pixie dust?

TOS is right, of course, only a Mongoose can really answer this one. But I'll have fun speculating in the meantime... 8)
