Destroyed Ships

Hi all! I have a few questions regarding Destroyed ships and their effects on the game. For all the questions below assume the ship has been reduced to 0 damage and has either rolled the "Running Adrift" or "Ship Destroyed" (not the explode where it is removed).

1) Does the "hulk" block LOS at all?

2) Can other ships end their movement on the base of a "hulk"

3) Do you get any additional VPs for a "hulk" at the end of the game if you hold the field?

4) Am I missing any other effects these ships have on the game?

Thanks!

Curtis

no to pretty much all of them. ships dont block LOS, you cant stop on one so they do effect movement. no extra vps for it, you already killed it.
cant think of any other effects. you cant shoot it to try explode it.

Raiders and pak'ma'ra can scavenge them in campaign games.

Ships that are reduced to 0 crew but with damage points remaining can still be boarded and captured for double VPs.

If a ship has no crew but a positive damage score can it still be fired on ?
Can be worth doing if you're retreating and the enemy has a few decrewed ships floating about (White Stars especially).

AFAIK the only time you can't still fire at a ship is if it's damage is 0 or less. Likewise it'd still take damage if caught in an explosion or E-mine burst etc.

some where in the rule a ship what is not totaly destroyed is still on drift. So it coud make sense to blow it up if it is on course for youre planet Jumpgat Spce station and so on.
