Defensive Roll v.s. Take 10

Just wondering how many of you GMs permit the players to roll for their base defense or keep the simplified "take 10" option?
 
"take 10" for me. Anything to keep the game moving faster.

Besides, statistically speaking randomness tends to disfavor the PC's over the long run.

take 10 for general combat but for 1v1 duels or grudge fights i have them roll aswell as the npc, tends to add a bit more flavour to the fight. especially seeing as i have rolling a nat 1 on defence provoking a crit threat roll from the enemy and rolling a nat 20 on defence as an automatic success.
