Decal sheets

Scipio

Mongoose
I'm painting my EA fleet and have tried to locate some of the Earth Alliance decal sheets that Griffon Games made.
Is there anyone who knows where they can be bought or have spare copies that they don't need and are willing to sell them to me?

I got mine direct from Griffin Games, you should be able to track down their website easily enough. Don't have a link handy, and it was almost 2 years ago.

Just be careful as they're very delicate and easy to rub off when on the sheet. I already need to order my third due to carelessness

If you ask me the site is no longer how it ever was, and they do not have the decals in the Ebay shop???

Any ideas ??

Thanks One 8)

Ok, thank you guys. I have sent them a mail.

I have tried to find them on their site, ebay and in webstores without any luck.

When I ordered a while ago they were having trouble getting the ink, my decals took approx 6 weeks to arrive. That would seem to be an omen that they are no longer available.

One alternative might be to print your own decals. You'll need an inkjet printer, pictures of the relevant insignia, some sort of image processing software to resize the insignia, and decal paper.

As another of my hobbies is flying model rockets, I get my paper here:
http://www.rocketstore.co.uk/shop/
Click on the "Product Categories" search box and scroll down to "Consumables" (under "Construction"). You can get clear or white decal paper, and they also sell a suitable spray acrylic lacquer (Humbrol Crystal Clear).

Another source of decal paper:

I have a packet of Flames of War decals that I intend (someday) to use on my EA ships. The numbers are just about the right size.

Great suggestion!
I have placed an order for 10 to try it out.

Here is a link to a company that makes decals for Battletech. They have a fairly good selection of numbers and other decals. http://www.fightingpirannhagraphics.com/

Heres a scanned in copy of the Old Griffon Games decal sheet I had lying around. Its 217mm by 130mm.
