Darrians Question

OK so first term in education or military careers for a Darrian.

So the education one I can do easily enough - one large career slapping me in the face there, but military - which careers are covered by that?

I am assuming Navy and Guard...but what about Militia? Any of the merchants given some seem to be government.....and the biggy - Special Arm?

Anyone? Comments, discussion or even 'I'm the author, its XXXX you blithering idiot, Myrm' all, well, accepted

I'm the author, its XXXX you blithering... Er, perhaps not.

The Darrian military careers are Militia, Guard, Navy and Special Arm. By far the majority train as local militia. There are fewer positions available in the Guard and Navy (hence the higher entry requirements) and qualifying for the Special Arm is most challenging of all.

Ah, all inclusive - nice and easy - if you fail to get in, is there a draft equivalent (says he hoping he didn't miss anything obvious) so as to drop people into a career....

Actually I didn't see a draft equivalent for the Darrians at all...I'll double check tonight.

Ah, sorry. I wrote a confusing answer to your first post.

I didn't include a Darrian draft system. The first term was supposed to be a free choice for a 'Player Character'. They only need to roll to enter a career after their first term, unless of course they joined the Special Arm - since few are ever permitted to leave that service, not without a heavily redacted memory anyway... :wink:
