Imagine a tolloth remove the middle section.
Get 6 Dag kars remove the emine launchers.
Get allot of people with welders and stick it all together.

You get the idea.

Beams move up 2 damage steps instead so 5x and 6x damage is achievable..

Prolonged Emines
This emine does not die unlike others its presence lingers for many hours causing a region of space to become deadly for long periods.
Effect. The targetted area takes eefects as normal for the first turn.
Second turn an emine with 20 ad AP dd centred around the point at which the emine was orriginally fired.
3rd turn 10 AD AP dd emine
4th turn 5 AD dd emine
5th turn 5 ad emine
6th turn 2 ad emine
7th turn effects over.
This may be fired against planets as it was designed for planetry assult and attack both troops and emplacements over the 6 turns as well as ships and fighters landed on the planet.

This is the same --- a humor item, but nothing further and certainly nothing real.
 
For amusement value, wait until that self-propelled drainpipe lets off its prolonged energy mine. Hit it with a "No SA" critical so it can't All Stop. And for good measure, hit it with a gravitic shifter. Then sit back and snigger as it runs into its own mine.

Almost as amusing is to watch the owner of the ship with six energy mine launchers and an ion cannon after you win initiative, shoot first and score a "Random arc, no fire" critical.

When one of these ships is destroyed, don't roll on the Damage Table. It explodes immediately, automatically and spectacularly. All ships with 12" take 55AD plus a full salvo of energy mines. Anything which survives has to roll CQ 9 or spend the next round doing nothing as the entire crew goes "What the ****!". (Shadow and Vorlon ships have no crews but are alive, so it's the ship itself which goes "What the ****!".)

Yeah, the ship was quite frighteneing for an April Fool's ship.

the single ship from AOG I want to see become real is the EA Medusa Battleship 8)
 
AoG made a bunch of such 'joke' ships.

The Narn Da'ga'ga'ga'ga'ga'ga'ga'kar was according to AOG named after the sound the centauri admiral made upon first spotting it :P

Some other clasics they came up with:

The Posseidonova. Take one Posseidon hull. Cover every square inch of it with big guns. The downside to this design was that they couldnt get an extension cable long enough to use it as the power requirements were way too big for any generators they could fit in it.

The White Shar. Take one sharlin. Upgrade all its weapons to whitestar weapons and give it the same maneuvering capabilites. Tada :P

Santas Sleigh. This was superb and has to be seen for yourself.

They're all availalble as PDFs dotted around on various websites so just google away and I'm sure you'll find em :P
