Cults book 2, or Magic, of Glorantha

Looking for a next purchase, Cults of Glorantha Book 2 or Magic of Glorantha?

Can anyone please give me their thoughts?

Cults 2 is about Malkioni churches and Spirit Practices. It is old or HQ stuff reworked (competently) for MRQ, with some editing mistakes. Magic is God Learner and EWF magic, so totally new stuff. Cults 2 is my personal favourite, but Magic is very intriguing, too.

they are both great, but I'd say Cults 2 is more immediately applicable to game play

Personally I have both books and I'm very disappointed with Magic. I was really looking for details on those obcure systems of Magic like mysticism, dragon magic and demonology. The Magic of Glorantha book provides extensive information on Draconic Mysticism and God Learner Sorcery and little else. The Cults 2 book is excellent as a general addition to any MRQ collection. The information it contains is very applicable to any campaign!
