Cthulu and Sanity Points

The CoC sanity rules are great... if your playing a CoC game.

Agreed- to the breed of men that can survive the Hyborian Age are to some degree aware there are Elder Horrors in the world and this fact is not a threat to their general mindset. They are scared a f*** of them of course- or in perhaps even in their Corrupted thrall....

It's the denial of this fact in more modern settings that makes us weak willed people go mad.....

Though I admit that a "Dark Ages Cuthulu" game set in the Hyborian age could have promise...

Or to use a Conan system hybrid to play in the actual Dark Ages.
