@ Triggy - No worries then, but please can you ask Ben to have ship sheets this time and I will be delighted to play against him.

Thinking about Narns at the moment, but will have to wait until I see the fleet book before I make my final selection.

By the way has anyone got a fleet book yet?

Can't help thinking the average Gaim fleet would pick this apart.

Still, be aware that the last tournament I put together had a ship limit for fleets in order to get games finishing on time. That will likely still be in effect (a 40 Haven fleet would be fun to see, but people are going to get honked off watching the book-keeping and mdoels being moved. . .).

To be honest, between us, it's actually hard coming up with a "broken" fleet now - even the "best" combinations have weaknesses as you've pointed out. BTW, this is a good thing :P

You sound as if you won't be very well that day. Perhaps you should take it easy and not go to work. . . :)
 
Hmm bit difficult - I am in charge at work so can't skip the day easily - guess you know how it goes......... :)

I forsee a rain of energy mines be they Narn, Gaim or Brakiri on that sort of fleet? Figure the Admirals ship be buired under them? not much range or Terrain usually in tournaments.............. :)
 
Well, having seen the new fleet book (boys is it good! :P ) I am thinking either Narn or Centauri.

I suspect that there will be a lot of Gaim fleets in action on the day, so I had better prepare accordingly.

By the way, will it be 5 points Raid or another PL variation?
 
i'll definetly play gaim, when i can afford the amount of fighters i'd need to fill my fleet, seeing as for 1 arm point i could get a very mature chedder variatie of 8 ships and 192 flights of fighters!! at 2 per base thats a whooping 16 blisters of fighters, £96+paint, very unhealthy for my bank account.
