Darn, now I really need to learn the 2E rules, and pick a fleet list, and maybe even paint some minis... nah, let's not get too carried away.

I shall skip out. I am very much looking forward to 2e rules, (mine are on order) but I don't think i am really cut out for tournaments.

Cpt K will be retiring from competitions, and sticking with friendlies.

I don't know which fleet I'll use until I've seen the new lists. I have Dilgar, but many others are calling me.
Gaim are gorgeous.
Psi Corps will play very differently to other fleets.
I have the start of EA, which I can use in Psi Corps of course.
Drazi are funky.
Vree. Flying saucers. nuff said.
And Raiders keep calling me.

I am expecting lots of Gaim fleets so there goes my fighter heavy 3rd age EA. and definately no ISA either.

@Triggy - Ben's not the guy who wound everyone up at the Milton Keynes event organised by Reborn is he?

Yes but:

a) He apologised afterwards.

b) He hasn't done anything else since.

I'm not trying to stir things up again as the "reputation" caused trouble with a few folks in another event when people assumed the worst about an event then when the truth came out many people were left with egg on their faces due to the (untrue) accusations being assumed to be true. Suffice to say he won't cause any problems and is a bloody tough general to face

He he, now cheesy fleet selections are something he may do

The current "cheesy" selections we've discussed are:
40 x Haven
2 x Whitestar Gunship, 4 x Blue Star
8 x Vorchan, 1 x Corvan, 1 x Maximus
10 x Milani

Of course, this by no means indicates that he'll actually take any of these but we've certainly picked out what we consider a few of the most powerful fleets already...
