Crushing RN Defeat at Jutland!!!

News just in - Beatty's battlecruiser force crushed at monumental battle of Jutland. All six battlecruisers lost in gruelling fight with their German counterparts! Beatty did not live to see his defeat as he was killed by a heavy shell hit to LION's bridge shortly before she was sunk. In other news WARSPITE also sunk after a spirited attack by German light forces!!

As promised in my previous message I'll be posting a full report as soon as the game organiser posts it to me.
 
This was the Belfast game. We used a computer moderated version of the TTG Microfleet rules to speed things up. Although we didn't use the new VAS rules I picked up quite a few pointers and reminders on running big WW1 actions which I'll be checking against what we have in WW1 VAS.
 
were not the Germans constrained by such orders as

"Under NO circumstances engage any enemy ships that are bristling for a fight!" :D
