Critical Hits

Two questions:

1. I suffer Reactor Explosion on Turn 2. On Turn 3, I suffer another Reactor Explosion. I repair it on Turn 3. Do I still suffer No Special Actions? Additionally, are my traits permanently lost?

2. I hit an enemy ship that is running with Close Blast Doors. My critical removes all special actions. Do the hits before that critical get filtered by CBD, all hits, or none of the hits?

If you take the same critical twice, you must repair it twice. So in this case you may attempt a second repair on turn 4, but suffer the effects of the crit until then.

Trait loss are part of the critical effect and so can be repaired as normal. So they cannot be repaired if they are lost due to vital criticals or crippling.

That attack (ie weapon) is filtered by the CBD. Every attack after that is not. Effects from criticals (and crippling) are applied after the whole attack is resolved. Otherwise it would require rolling each attack dice individually to see whether every AD took out some vital defence.

This way still allows rolling beams first, in the hope of knocking out interceptors before standard weapon fire.
