Crewed Missle flight contact

I'd be happy with some sort of definition for numbers of suicide fighters/breaching pods/etc. that can make contact defined by ship PL - along the lines of what's already been said.

I agree - best to have a number of fighters allowed in contact per level of the ship, else there is a huge discrepancy. The difference between 12 Gaim missiles attacking and half a dozen is huge when you take into account anti-fighter rolls.

started a new thread to discuss:)

Da Boss, where is the new thread?

I appreciate everyone's suggestions and I like the idea on a maximum number of stands based on priority level, but it I would really like to hear what Matthew has to say about this.

Please address what defines contact with a ship when using crewed missle hex bases, counters, or stands. If it is the base of the ship then let us know anbd if you are going to issue an offical base size for the ships in the fleet book.

We have excluded the Gaim from our campaign becuse this is not clear in the rules. We have some people usng counters and some using miniatures and this is creating quite a few questions.

Tschuma

Heh, I've just thought of something for the Gaim player - make fighter bases all 0.1 mm wide and 1 metre long just to reach those hard to reach places :P

Well there was this necron player thinking of creating some 12" bases for scarab swarms. With tomb spyder he could then make first turn assault with them...

So old idea ;-)

In our club we have always played that you measure from stem to stem, as that is the singlemost fair way to play the game, otherwise we are going to have to spend some money and lots of time rebasing all of our fleets.
