Preparations begin at LBH-Dome

1) Gather stuff for signing:
-----> B5 RPG 2E GM Screen (Ivanova's 'Fury prominently featured in artwork)
-----> A particular issue of a certain adult publication
(Everything else has been signed at least once already)

STATUS: PENDING FINAL REQUISITIONING OF MATERIEL

2) Prepare suitable attire:
STATUS: Design of "Corps is mother, Corps is Father but Ivanova is GOD!!!" T-shirt in progress

3) Ensure accurate memorisation of the 2 key Ivanova speeches!
STATUS: Known these for years 8)

4) Check transportation
STATUS: Murphy's law produced expected rail works on day of operation, minimal impact expected but preventative measures will be instigated.

5) Check status of field kitchen.
STATUS : Cafe was there last time I checked :lol:

6) Revert to subsistence living on baked beans to fund excursion
STATUS: Going well judging by local methane levels.

Traveller Prep Plan v1

1 - Find old map to Mongoose offices complete with hidden path through the hyperspace whirlpools that surround them (also known as the Swindon Roundabouts of the Lost)

2 - Find B5 item that CC has not signed (tough one that)

3- Send shuttle for full pre-flight check and fuelling (remember to take out a loan to pay for the petrol)

4 - Select dice to take (in the hope of getting in the CC B5 game, and the bag of Centauri ducats to "enhance" my chances :wink: )

Claudia will remember me, I doubt many fans miss their best mate's wedding to attend her signing sessions, AND get her to sign a wedding card for them :lol:

Bag packed (inc book for CC to sign and dice/ pens, just in case..)

Dunno what I'm going to do there all day, but hey, it beats mowing the lawns :)

Is there a decent pub nearby where a Hiver can buy some G'yar at about lunchtime-ish (can't drink, am driving)? That or I'll have to bring some tesco sanwhiches (Joy at that thought. Deep, deep joy. Not.)

There's a pub round the back of Mongoose, across the car park, the Swiss cottage, it's not too bad.

Just hitting the forums before heading out at 0530 ZULU to walk the 5 miles to the station, if I'm lucky I might catch the first bus of the morning part of the way there.
