Not mechanically, although you could play out the aforementioned FP sacrifice as a religious cleansing.
Some faiths offer Atonement as benefit but that only works to restore a Code of Honour.

If they want to avoid that fate, remind them that they can atone by sacrificing Fate Points. IIRC each FP cancels out one point of Corruption.

I have, but they have been unwilling to do that. One of them actually likes the corruption, Acheronian blood and all, while the rest want to save their fatepoints for staying alive.

I'd say that regaining their Code of Honour definitely will help them to stay alive, and I doubt they can't regain their CoH as long as they have Corruption. But well, they will have to make the call. ^^

Yes, corruption comes as a penalty to corruption saves, leading in to a downward spiral. Remember that if a character has a corruption point(s) and succeeds in save vs corruption, he is required to take immediately new will save vs. insanity. Remember as well that intact code of honor gives +6 vs corruption.

Yes, having a Code of Honor helps a lot if you don't like the sweetness of corruption. If you are such of a person (namely DasClay), then I sagest the feats from Road of Kings. Resolute and Grounded helps you fight off corruption. Bond of Blood and Trustworthy is good if you like honor and allegiances in a big way.

If you are like the rest of use how love the sweet bosoms of corruption's sweet embrace, then I sagest Foul is Fair and Deception of Set to mask you foul intentions. Personally, I never found the need to hide my interests :wink:. (straps on a wicked, spiky, phallic cod-piece once owned by Blacky Lawless)

I still strongly recommend the Debaucher feat. But if your one of those hemophobic, bleeding-hearts, how can't stand the suffering of others, cuz you can't hug trees with nuclear arms, then I sagest you meditate under a tree for an hour humming the same old tone :? (use Meditation and Greater Meditation from Scrolls of Skelos).
