Core 2022 update changes to Character creation over 2e?

Are there any changes to the character creation charts etc. between 2e and the 2022 update? I'm looking at doing a creation session in a week or so, and the other players have the older version of the rules. In the spirit of speeding things up, I'd like to have multiple copies of the books, but would prefer to not have to shell out for some new books if I can avoid it. In play is fine with one book, but going through CC one at a time will be a drag.
