Convert B5 Wars Fighters Into Ships For ACTA!

Well there are some B5 Wars fighters that aren't suitable like the Starfury/Thunderbolt etc.
Perhaps they'll be resurrected if we ever seen War Without End

the plan was for those fighters to be in WWE, we had rules for the thunderbolt and I think the Nial.

no problem they can be used in two different ways - lets give the Vorlons and Shadows some more ships!!! Esp now I have the Armada mod and theres all those other Shadow etc designs..................

what on earth would a starfury model be!?

not in favour of it myself, the Vree could just about get away with it, the WS fighter is disappointing
plus many people still use them for fighter wings

I'm assuming you don't like humour here then. And what Buddies would you be reffering to? Please quantify before making wild accusations would you. My Buddies do not post on this forum anymore, most of them don't in fact play ACTA anymore. And I am definately beggining to see the reasoning behind their arguments.

Ok here goes:
B5 Wars ship scale is ACTA ship scale.
Some of the B5 Wars large scale fighters have already been introduced into ACTA as ships, Vree Xorr, Pak Portais....
B5 Fleet Action is the smaller scale Ships.
However B5 Fleet Action fighters are ACTA fighters.

One of the reasons i would like to see more patrol ships (the B5 Wars fighters) is that ACTA priority levels have gone upwards with Arma etc.
So why not expand the range in Patrol/Skirm too?
If there was enough choices for each fleet in the lower priorities u could expand the game downwards too.
Would be great for games when you haven't got a lot of time, you could opt for 5PT Patrol/Skirm games.
Also i hate to see the B5 Wars fighters not being fully utilized.
A side benefit of upgrading these to ships , would be that players who use them as proxy fighter flights would have to buy the smaller fighters :lol:

Well they have introduced a fair number of patrol and skirmish ships these last half year or so.

T'Rakk(Skirmish), Tiger Starfury(Patrol), Myrmidon(Patrol), Nolo'Tar(Skirmish), and Blue Star(Patrol). Also that Brakiri scout at Skirmish(I'm forgetting it's name). This isn't counting new races such as the Pak'Ma'Ra who got a whole fleet and thus by default some patrol and skirmish ships.

On the other end of the scale we got that Brakiri ship for Battle level engagements. I can't think of any new Armageddon, War, or Raid level ships off the top of my head after Armageddon. The Technomage Pinnace being a scenerio ship doesn't count since you can't use it normally anyways. If it did it's Raid if I'm remembering correctly.

Agrees, these two models are simply begging to be introduced into ACTA, it would be a terrible waste not to. 8)
I've been looking at the Vorlon fleet list, unfortunately i don't see how (the Vorlon large scale fighter) woud fit in.
Can we call it a Frigate?
The Mongoose doesn't want a Vorlon skirm priority ship, with good reason.
And with the Transport on Raid priority, all i can think of is making another Raid priority ship.
And that wouldn't work to good, since the new smaller scale Transport, the Fighter looks bigger and meaner too.
So make the Frigate tougher,and compensate by making it slower and less manoevreable?

Very nice they look but every time I click ont eh link it keeps jumping to Dell Search site -most annoying! have to hit the stop button pretty quick

is there a pic of the shadow and vorlon large fighters anywhere?
