Is there a calendar in Conan's time?

I read somewhere (the main book I believe) that each year has a "Year of the ..." trend. Like year of the lion, year of the dragon, year of the elk, etc.

What about days and months?

I'm pretty certain that most countries and cultures will have their own calendars. But I'd like to see if there's a general concencus for a calendar, so I don't just look doe-eyed when one of my players asks me what date it is.
