Collaborative RuneQuest Campaign Design

ArtHaus Games through White Wolf.

Pendragon is a BRP offshoot, so it's fairly simple to do some adaptations (check out the Arthurian RQ thread where we've discussed it a little)

It's mostly sourcebook with little bits of rules and stats embedded here and there - the stats will convert across quite nicely, but rules mentioned are usually very specific to the Pendragon RPG so you would probably want a copy of the core book as well to make sense of things such as the yearly phases and chivalry/romance rules (unless you're interested in it purely in the Arthurian storyline)

Thanks!
Too much cool books, too few days to read or too few dollars/punds/euros to spend :(

I'll check it out nevertheless...

If you are into instant gratification and like pdf's you can DL Stuff from all the five different edtions of Pendragon at Drivethrurpg.net.

I hear they carry other things including some game called RuneQuest.

Matt's, right. I should be on comission! :D

I know of DriveThru, thanks, but I won't be buying MRQ there. My hardcovered copy rests beside me right now :-)
There is nothing better than a book ;-)

Looks like enough prospective interest... :)

Should have a "blank canvas" somewhere up and running in about a week, at which point we can discuss exactly how this should be put together ;)

If you want, I could scan the introduction pamphlet for Questworld-that was Chaosium's open campaign world. SOme of the notes and ideas as for why they did what the did with it an guidelines for how to write for Questworld might be useful for "Terra Thomason".

THen again they might not... 8)

Yup :) Just trying to find the time to put a workspace together - unless anyone else would like to run with the idea. The next week or so looks a little busier than I was expecting, but it's on my "to-do" list ;)

Fine Fine, no rush there, I just wanted to know, as I was out of touch due to my vacation for some days :-)

Tim and I have had a little discussion, and we feel this would fit nicely in the Wiki he has set up - which saves me having to set up a seperate site :)

As there's already the beginnings of a collaborative world-building effort going on over there I suggest taking that as the starting point.
