Im sure Jean would be along to post this but I thought it was pretty sweet.

Edit: Guess it is already mentioned in another post

I heard about the cloaked ships a while back and I was, to be honest, indifferent towards the whole idea. I saw the cloaked KR on Facebook the other day and thought they looked kinda neat and went into the maybe someday pile. Then I saw the cloaked Condor on Mongoose's blog

wow they're awesome!

Very nice. I showed the pic to my wife and said, "See, you don't even have to paint these ones." Her thought was to use inks to enhance some of the detail lines.

Inks will certainly enhance some of the details but my concern is that the ink will also ruin the cloak effect

I've used inks on clear resin 'cloaked' minis before, I thought they came out decently...

Are those Bob Ainsty's sculpts? Not seen them inked before, very effective.

Yep, pretty cool figures. The one problem I had with them is the resin was very brittle and I had a couple break on me. Super glue fixed them, but still a hassle.
