The Chronos is fine as is. But they are cool looking and more is better than less!

thats right....the marathon is an nice ship, but remember the stats. the weapons are not very earthlike (neutron lasers???? i don´t know!?!?!?) and it is at Battle LV. ...and the current price.... :roll: :roll: :roll:
but my ship is at Raid like the hyperion
and have better weapons...and i made it to a nice price :twisted:

Why does the Charybdis have to replace the Hyperion? Actually why does it have to replace anything, why can't it just be a new ship!? At Raid level!

Also the Marathon is quite expensive, lucky its a Battle level ship! :wink:

Cause the Hyperion is old & doesn't fit in with new EA design profiles.
It just looks out of place to me.

I agree, the Hyperion just looks old and outdated next too all the sleek armour plated crusade era ships, dont get me wrong, its still a good ship, but its just doesnt look as good (and frankly I was never a fan of the Hyperion to start with!)

New Drakh mothership you say Urobach? I wonder if it Mongoose will actually have released theirs by that time

the charybdis is an new ship....but it fills the roll of the hyperion even better. i don´t want to say that i hate or generaly replace the hyperion...but the others had sayed it. in the crusade ära it is outdatet. that is an fact.

yep....i WANT definitly sculpt the drakh mothership. i don´t buy an ship for over and (perhaps more then) 30 or 40 bucks,sorry moongoose. and then it looks ugly as twice..OH NO. you all know how quick i am can sculpt new ships...also Moongoose hurry up or i am faster.... :twisted:

Okay so what does it have worse than Hyperion then? Same PL level, better weapons, it better lose to Hyperion on some counts...

The stats aren't too bad, At the moment it's on par with a magnus. 1 more flight, less hits & only interceptor 1, beam weapon similar but boresight & 10" less range. It's probably no better than hyperion as the hyperion probably does have more firepower, more beam power the railgun & AP, TWL weapons probably cancel each other out & the Hyperion has way more pulse everywhere ( roughly 18 AD at range 10"). The Charyblis has more survibility for the sacrificing of firepower. 2AD diffderence on the beam weapon is huge. The rear railguns probably are even with rear beam weapon, the range & beam cancel out because of it being boresight.
Maybe either AJP needs to go or flight comp. Don't think it should have both.
