Chemical Batteries HG p. 42 question

Evening all,

I'm not getting the same cost that the example for Chemical Batteries on HG p. 42, both soft cover and pdf, has.

Per p. 42 the Type-B Battery cost is MCr(16x2000/1000X4)=108

When I crunch the numbers the cost is MCr128. So what I'm I missing?

Obviously you didn't miss math class (smile)

Ibelieve that its a "typo". the value 108 should read 128.

The formula is basic enough (although it still could be misconstrued)
It may have been better to have written it in such a manner

(16 x (2000/1000) x 4) = 128 MCr

Rather than (16 x 2000/1000 x 4) which could be rendered as a final value of 8 MCr...

Although 128 MCr seems to be a large value... (Must be Military Contractors again)

Take care

Hello Emperor Herdan,

Math is one of my, usually anyway, better skills which made me wonder if I was overlooking something. Thank you for confirming that I performed the calculations correctly as listed. Have a good weekend.
