Changes to the Original B5W/AoG molds...

Court Jester

Mongoose
I noticed whilst wasting tiome on the internet that many of the old AoG model kits came in more parts than their Mongoose counter parts...

For instance... The Primus now comes in one hull section where as previously it came in two halves with a seperate tail. the same with the Omega, it used to have seperate turrets as well as engines...

I'm just wondering id there was a reason these were re-mastered into bigger lumps?

When casting, you get faster cooling times, better detail, and overall better quality when you have many small pieces. However, you can get molds that last longer and higher production rates with larger single pieces.

It really depends on which is the lesser evil.

My first Omega was an origibnal AoG one. Those turrets are the smallest parts I have ever seen. Thank goodness they changed them.
