Casting Times

This is for clarification.

If a spell has a casting time of '1 day' (like Animal Ally) is that a full 24hrs, or something different?

Well, I feel the way it works is You cast the spell and the effect of the spell happens withing 24 hours. It does not take a full day to cast the spell...

Just my take on it!

Heya, Groshnik! I already told you it'd be an actual 24-hour day, by Crom's teeth! ;-)

But, yeah, I can see the actual ritual being maybe 12-16 hours or so, with the final arrival of the bonded animal rounding out the 24 hours.

I've always preferred a more natural, intuitive interpretation of RPG rules anyway, as long as the spirit of the setting is maintained and everyone is having fun without taking undue advantage of any "holes" in said rules (or the GM or the other players, for that matter).

I can see 12 hours max to cast the ritual, but 16 is alittle long.

Sometimes, we have to go with makes to us the GM's.
