I've been relunctant to buy the hardcover print edition thinking all the issues like misspelled words and stat issues would be fixed in a downloadable PDF. Is this true?

If I download the PDF, will I need a FAQ too?

Also, the unexpected side effect is the binding the issue that I avoid .

The FAQ and FAP Splitting PDFs are both fully integrated into the PDF vesion of the Fleet Book (for example, ISA Nial hull is corrected). But the Rules Book is still "as printed".
