Hi guys,

Again, ahead of the more global announcement, but you can grab the tournament pack for the Brothers in Arms day from the web site, in the Battlefield Evolution section.

Just as a minor point, this gives something of an unfair advantage to those who could make it to the open day previously, as the wave 2 stuff still wont be up for sale prior to this event

Also Im a little disapointed at the 'official BF Evo minis only' line. I really dont wan't to see Mongoose turn into the new GW.... Fair enough models do affect the gameplay but if someone has a tank thats exactly the same size then I dont see why they shouldnt be allowed to use it (as long as its a proper BFEvo unit and not a player statted one like the T-72s that people have been playing about with).

The wave 2 models will be on sale during the day, so the advantage will be minor.

Yeah I know its fair enough but one of the things I always respected most about you guys with the ACTA events and so on in the past is that you DID let people use FA modles and so on if they wanted to. And the main thing is that not everyone can physically AFFORD the official Evo minis (putting aside whether theyre TOO expensive or not for a now, however you look at it IS pretty expensive to build a decent sized force in Evo).

All that said, I would love to come if I can get transport there. Especially if I can buy wave 2 stuff

How do allied armies interact?

I.E Can you use each others transports?
Can a third action generated by a command squad be used by your ally?

Just an educated guess here but Id suggest probaly they dont interact at all, you just have another force on your side to shoot the other side (and both allies shatter independantly, winner is the first side to have both enemy forces shatter?).

option 1 only your bonus action can be used on your force.

this would mean if both forces had a comand squad they would effectivly have 2 bouns actions per turn !!

option 2 bonus action is for both forces and command unit is supreeem commander of the force, if he dies the the other one takes over if there is one.

just a thought

Going by the Command unit card for the Brits/EFTF, you can give a friendly unit the nbonus action. Implies you could help someone in your partner's army.

Also, because you and your partner have seperate armies, I can't see anything in the rules that says both 750 point srmies can't field one, so you could have 2 units having 3 actions.

Although the special ruiles say a unit can ony have one bonus action, no matter how many command squads are on the table, so no getting 4 shoot actions for the Warriors :evil:

I'll ask Matt to clarify.

Also, do we know which weekend the tournament is, the original thread of dates said the 14th, the preannouncement said the 7th and the tourney pack says the 14th?????
