Mongoose
I just finished converting most of the spells in the Bronze Grimiore and several other Elric! and Stormbringer books into Elric of Melnibone/Runequest spells. It is not a complete list, I selectively left out several or combined a few, in some cases, did some re-writing.
I'd like to share, if anybody is interested.
I've written the following disclaimer, so, everybody is aware of my intent:
Important Note: All of the spells listed in the document are taken from Chaosium’s Stormbringer rulebooks and supplements including: Cults of Law, Cults of Chaos, Stormbringer, 5th Edition, The Bronze Grimiore, The Stormbringer Companion and Demon Magic. In some instances, I omitted spells that were redundant or rendered obsolete or better represented by a gift or summoning in the Elric of Melnibone core rulebook. In a few instances, I re-wrote the text to make the spells better suited to the new Elric of Melnibone rulebook. I omitted the Runes and Incantations found in The Bronze Grimiore, assuming that runes, as indicated in the Mongoose forums, will be addressed in an upcoming supplement for Elric of Melnibone.
Needless to say, this document and my attempts to increase compatibility are not intended as a challenge to any existing copyright or intended to usurp the original authorship. The document is non-profit and intended as a resource to assist those Gamemasters looking to add the old Stormbringer and Elric! spells to the new Elric of Melnibone game.
