Border boxed sets

Morning all wise and knowing types.

The Border box sets are listed on the release schedule. are they the same contents as the ADB boxes for 1 (klingon border) and 3 (Romulan border). Also any ideas as to the pricing.

This is not an official answer, but I understand that the 2500-line Border Box sets available from ADB have exactly the same mix of ships as the original 2400-line Border Box sets. No doubt Jean Sexton will be able to give official word.

[For those of you not familiar with these items, ADB released Squadron box sets to correspond with the FC ship cards in the FC products, and Border Box sets to correspond with the ships in the Booster Packs. So if you bought Federation Commander: Klingon Border, and Squadron Boxes 1, 2, & 3, you'd have one mini for each Ship Card you had. If you bought Booster Packs 1, 2, & 3 as well, and the Border Box, you'd have one Ship Card for each counter in Klingon Border, and one mini for each Ship Card as well. There's a "Border Box" for each major release in the FC line.]

Border boxes (and Squadron boxes) will indeed match up. Fleet boxes and their contents are designed by Mongoose to meet the needs of ACTASF players.

Please remember that the Border Box prices in the link above are for Starline 2400 and have not been priced for Starline 2500.

Thanks Jean for official word on the Border Boxes! A fleet box along with the corresponding border box will provide me with a good fleet for any empire.

I checked with SVC. It'll be a bit before we can get the Border Boxes together, and they will be mail-order only. The price will be higher than what the 2400 line was -- we are thinking $129.99, but please don't hold me to that as things could change.
