This seems like a bit of a glaring omission so forgive me someone's already covered it in a previous topic...
Does it not seem faintly ludicrous to people that, in the Mongoose Dredd RPG, at no point does the skill Melee (blade) get doled out to Judges?
Seeing as how the boot knife's standard issue for all Judges, you'd think that it would be covered in basic training at the Academy Of Law.
Personally, I give every character a level of Melee (blade) in Term 1 of training (at the same time as they get their level in unarmed combat) so as to save the Judge PCs fumbling around with it like rank amateurs with an unskilled penalty should they ever have to use the thing.
Just seems like a strange oversight in such an awesome game.
Do other refs do this too?
