Books Falling Apart Again

Is anyone else still having trouble with their books falling apart? Mine decided to take a little while longer than others it seems, and I had originally though that mine were from the second run (considering how long it took to get them).

Is anyone else having trouble with later runs of the books falling apart or did I just happen to get some of the last of the first run?

My rulebook has been fine, however my original fleet book fell apart in about three weeks. Mongoose sent me a replacement for it, this one lasted longer but is now starting to fall apart as well.

Spend a couple of bucks and get some nice document protectors. My rule book is thus incased and in a three ring binder. Kind of nice this way, it stays open to the page I want. ;) My fleet book isn't quite there yet but I expect it will get the same treatment in six months or so.

i doubt its worth moaning, im on my second run ones and they are falling apart as well, it seems the company that makes them hasnt got a clue how to do books

Hi guys,

We are no longer running the original printing facility, and have destroyed our remaining stocks.

All books supplied by us now come from a third party printer, so drop me a line at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com, and we will replace your books for you.

I bought 1 good large folders and a couple of hundred plastic wallets then tore the remaining pages out of the books. It's surviving better than the rulebooks did.

My Fleet Book decided to come apart finally two days ago. In combination with the misprinted page in my Rule Book (the first page of the Fighters rules is a scenario instead), I think I'll finally get them replaced (both were in the initial set of the first print run). At least they lasted this long and weren't warped.

I sent in an email with photos, and was assured I'd get a replacement, softcover book, though it might take a while.

I had my original rulebook replaced about a fortnight after they were released, but both the replacement and the original fleet book started to shed pages a month or two ago. I just pulled out the rest of the pages (far too easily  ) and had my local print shop slap comb binders on them. Photoshopped and laminated some nifty covers too. Don't worry Matt, the credits pages are still intact :)

Both of mine fell apart. Didnt even know about the replacement program.
Oh well, 5 bucks later at Kinkos I have an all-in-one spiral bound rulebook

I was just about to say that I am about to do the same thing... problem is that the Kinko's I know is doing a renovation and is removing everything for a while.
