What about "non-celebrity" celebrity or just "professional celebrity"?
People like Paris & Nikki Hilton, the Cardashian and Gastinow girls... all famous because they are relatives of someone, have money, and managed to find an agent who talked some cable channel into giving them a show.
In a GT game I was in, one of the players was a 'professional celebrity'. He had a letter of credit to withdraw 50,000 cr each month from a trust fund, and pretty much spent his time being wealthy playboy and appearing on talk shows/celebrity romps all over the Imperium (and these were then distributed out from whatever world it was taped on).

Got a couple of old (Classic) Solamani characters that may benefit from this.
one was a (Solamani) Imperial Noble who sided with the Solamani in the (Non-Canon) 2nd Solomani Rim War 5634-38 (this was long before Megatravller), mid war he jumped from occupied space in to the Confederation proper just ahead of an INI Hit Squad spent a few years wandering as an "Other" and a Navy Home Guard before ending up on the far rim working as a face man for a group of Party backed Freebooters.
the other started out with high Party but failed her enlistment rolls and ended up going to the Draft where she was turned down for service and ended up an Entertainer, 2nd term she was recruited as a Sol Sec secret agent and covered as a Party Official, after a couple more terms she Mustered-out joined the PC's who where after a Crewed Ship as the Merchant was a purser who spent all his time at Ship Security School and the Navy guy working for INI, the rest where Army, Marine and MoJ Spec Opps types, by the time we worked around to the 2nd Solomani Rim War she had compromised the lot of them and had them all working for Sol Sec.
