Question: Why would Orlanthi PC's be interested in helping Thandor and Dajai to spy on Hendrik when he is open with his "old Orlanthi worshipping"?

...And if they think he is Arkat then why dont they just bring him in and deal with him?

This does not sound logic to me.

They're asked to help by Thandor. They can say no, but that means snubbing one of the more powerful lords in the valley - and when they accept, Thandor tells them he wants them to stall the EWF investigation anyway.

Hendrik's open with his contempt for the EWF and his devotion to the Old Ways - but that's not enough to convict him. The EWF need proof that he's actively opposing them, not just grumbling.
