to be honest i found out one of my GF's freinds husbands is also a gamer !!!
we have a funny ol thing going though as the rule for our gf's is we dont talk about nerd club nights if norms are in our presence, but we found out one drunken night that one of the group used to be a DanD role player, tony last night droped the bomb, and said "so do you , or did you ver do any of the table top stuff ?" the table hit a silence, awaithiong the answer "NO" and me along with the other guys were like "damn" and carrier on the evening avoiding talking about warmachine, painting terrain and FOW" although we do use a bot of code lol.
so far we have discovered in drunkeness that tony wargamed, when he found out me and pete did he was so excited, his GF was like "Bugger hes found fellow geeks and they looked so normal" and pete bro whos a self defined geek due to his IT job is wishing to join us know for our secret night lol, plus we also have 2 girls who paint and play as well now, slowly our drinking group is being converted.
but yeah when the GF mentions toy soildiers and painting and playing games, you do tend to pull funn faces and try and jump in and change the convo lol.
in a trembelly voice) Hello friends, (in a wisper to GF Evil) the first rule of toy solder club is that you don't talk about toy sioldier club!!! espiaclly in the company of normal people
