Bestiary?

I have been anxiously awaiting the 'Bestiary of the Hyborian Age' which still seems to be in the pre-order stage..any news on when it will be available for sale?

I'm working on it. I can only apologise for the delay - it's an unexpectedly sticky project. I'm under orders to get it done by the end of the month and I'll try my best to meet that deadline. I'm on 'Serpent, Winged' at the moment...

That has to be one of the coolest posts ever Mongoose Chris. Very cool that you took time out to let everyone know what is up - and there can never be too many Serpent variants! Really, really looking forward to this book!

OK, thank you for the honesty, but why did you (or whoever is resposible of it in Mongoose) leave the book in "JANUARY" while it is obvious that none of us will ever have a look on it until February/March?
The same thing happened with many previous books...Return to the RoK was September-October-November.... I do not criticize the long delays and I do not even complain that books change often their release dates, good works need time to get fixed...I criticize the un-believable schedule you always show on your website, if something which is supposed to come on January is not ready by 20th January you always wait until 30th January to say "February", while it is more honest to say "February/March" when you notice that a book is still not ready by mid January.

As a rule of thumb, take the "release date" and add at least three to four months. That should be more realistic.

I suggested to display realistic release dates...but it looks like the book just disappeared!
It is not mentioned anywhere in the website.
What happened here?

Mongoose is outsourcing the printing process again. I suppose they are waiting for the first batch to see the result.

I look forward to spending more cash on Conan goodies, In the meantime I like to include stuff from the D20 Cthulhu game as it fits well with the conan stuff (better than any other games). I also pop in stuff from Macho Women with Guns, but that's just me.....

from what I read, the printing facility is in the US.

At least they are owning up to their serious blunders. I commend them for their honesty.

The Bestiary of the Hyborian Age is at print right now. Because it is a hardback, it takes a little longer to print than other titles, so expect to see it in early April.

OK, Thank you for the update but WHY the website still says "March"???
And why it is still supposed to come out together with Secrets of Skelos in March?
If you finally admit the the Bestiary is going to come out in April it seems logical to me that , considering all the past delays, we will not see any Secrets of Skelos before May or June.
Am I wrong???????

Not entirely - the release schedule is going to get a shake up in a few days. However, Secrets of Skelos, being a softback, will likely appear in the shops before Bestiary.
