Battlefield Evolution: The Great War

Greetings,

I'm starting up listing units for WWI, specifically the 1914 period and the campaign in East Africa. I'm giving the basic infantryman armed with rifle and bayonet a value of 10 points per figure.
Does this sound about right? Also, has anyone else done anything in this period. I know that Agis' and some of his friends afre working up a Back of Beyond campaign. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Basic Solider (Move 4", CC D6, T:4+ Sv:4+ K:6+ with 24" D6 Wepaon for 10pts sounds right to me.

Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply and thank you for your input. Real life it seems has an annoying tendency to be...well real life.
I already have the Imperial German Army Infantry Platoon pretty much done as well as the French and Belgians. The British are being worked up now. These are all from 1914. Anyway, take care and thanks again for the input.
