GW are about 1/2 inch wider

The new Mongoose small flying bases are about the same size as GWs.

Personally makes no sense, it was the large ships that needed to be similar to GWs.

That's annoying. I can see myself possibly needing to buy more small bases at some point, and I was expecting the new small bases to have been consistent with the previous versions -.-

I believe the new large bases are the same size as the GW large flying bases now. I could be mistaken but the ones I received are larger then the old ones.

The ones with a ball joint aren't... even from a glance they look nothing alike. I might also be getting larger GW flying bases...

Don't bother with the GW bases. They aren't selling the bags of flying bases ATM and if you mail order them they cost £2 EACH! One of the mail order trolls said they're 'doing something' about the bases to try to make them tougher.

i get bags of the small i think a.o.g. bases, they are hex shaped and are far more stable than the flat small ones as they are domed
