Barbed wires

Just wondering how you guys treat barbed wire terrain. Is it:

A-Difficult terrain (wich is more than difficult to cross to me...)

B-Emplacement (impassable terrain for infantry but removable by vehicules running over or an engineer unit special action)

Is this type of terrain should have a point value?

Really depends on the nastiness of the barbed wire. Some is fairly "thin" and other types are completely impassable to infantry.

I'd be tempted to treat it as:

Extremely Difficult Terrain
1" = 4" Movement

OR

If you wish to Rush through it treat it as Difficult terrain with a special effect. Wire makes an attack on a D6 if it succeeds the unit becomes "bogged down" and loses the rest of it's movement and must make an additional attempt to cross the next round.

OR

Require a Ready action and the above "damage" check to make it even slower going.

But should this type of terrain be counted as defensive terrain like minefields and have a point value?
