I'm going through the Alien Module 1 book. Do they still get them as described by the core rulebook? Or is that step replaced with Deeds and Rites?

For now, I'll let the CharGen software do background skills. Aslan must learn something from their homeworlds, I would think.
ADDED:
Ended up removing them. Aslan are 16 (14?) when they start. Not much time to learn any skills really.
