B5 Open Day - the aftermath

Unless Adrian's pics are doctored or something, I'm going to have to throw in a WTF at this point. I still think Claudia looks pretty good at least...

Have to agree, nothing short of a personal shot at someone who's out supporting your hobby.

She looks just fine to me, I know I don't look quite as shiny as I did 15 years ago, but I would hardly think someone would be on a message board going on about their disappointments.

I thought she looked pretty hot still. And not to mention she's 44.

I thought she looked pretty good too, and BTW she's only 43, though I'd never say it to her face.

LBH

Claudia knows how old she is, LBH, and she's aware that other people do too.

I thought she looked amazing, certainly different to when she was in B5 but it was a long time ago.

None of us will look the same in our 40's as we did 10-15 years prior. Being 43 myself, I think she looked great (and I never knew she was the same age as me :-)).

Cheers, Gary

Those of us who were there for her first Mongoose appearance, half of us saw her use my mobile to ring my Dad to chastise him for referring to her as an "old bird". Technically she is a matter of months nearer my father's age than mine, but not by much. Those of us in the room were knottign ourselves laughing

I think the puddle of drool on my T-shirt proves I still think she's good looking :P

LBH

to be honest i'm surprised she hasnt got some sort of restriction order on you LBH :D but perhaps she likes being stalked by you, who knows :D

I read her book, she has had proper scary stalkers in the past.

I think she likes taking the piss out of my accent

The other reason Claudia doesn't look quite the same today as she did on B5 is that she probably had a lot of makeup on B5. :)

FWIW, the photos aren't doctored (apart from the usual tweaks for brightness and colour balance). Based on my own recollection from the event, I wouldn't say that Claudia hasn't aged well; I'd say she hasn't aged at all. :)

Oh no, she's changed a lot, but she's still very beautiful. Not sure if any of your saw her in the A-Team, way back in the day, but she was very young then and very pretty; in B5 she was just stunning and now she's, well, still stunning but in a different way.

Looks very Cheesy!

I met Claudia at Gencon several years ago, to be honest I found her a bit arrogant at the time, I believe she has mellowed since then.

I must admit she still looks great as far as I am concerned - No wonder LBH has shares in Kleenex!

And if you want to see Claudia in action again, watch out for Starhyke...
Reminds me of that awful show LEXX. Sci Fi for the sake of Sci Fi. Not like... taking risks, like Battlestar did. Campy. Corny. Lame.

Its a shame, I wonder if being attached to B5 didn't let her do anything else.

I was disapointed she never came back for the movies or extended series, it'd have been really something to see where Susan wound up. I know we get that brief "oh she got her own ship" line, but a story with a new guy trying to get close to her, and her not letting him because of marcus, only to have her need the guy before the end, blah blah cliche story... but it'd have been cute.

I'm bitter. I want more B5. Damn Warner Brothers.

brit sci-fi humour, we do it a lot with red dwarf being the most well known. think there was also something called hyperspace which looked amusing what little i saw of it. hopefully this will come upto the red dwarf bar.

It's a sitcom - so, I'd hope it was "Campy. Corny. Lame." because they are all the ingredients of a good sitcom! :)

it was a Sci-com :D And I enjoyed it! It is terrible because it is supposed to be that way. You don't turn on family guy expecting intellegent dialog or provoking stories. You watch it for the laughing out loud

I should probably made it clearer that I was referring to "Starhyke", not "Lexx" as I've never seen Lexx - though I've seen the trailers etc for "Starhyke" and can see the space it occupies on British TV.

However, I did Google Lexx and it looks interesting enough for me to consider getting hold of it.

Regards,

Dave
