I/we have been away from d20 for 15 years +, but it looks like my group wants a d20 game, so I am going to try and acquire the out of print B5 stuff.

Much of my time will be taken up just reading the rules and getting the system down, so I am looking for a pre-planned adventure/campaign set to get started with and perhaps stay with long term.

It looks like there are at least a half dozen + adventures out there, and I am looking for some recommendations as to which would be best for a 'noob' group?

Thanks.

The Cold Equations is a good introduction story and it leads in to the campaign in The Ragged Edge book. Get those and you've got a campaign to take you through the events of 2259.

Agreed. This is how I started my campaign. We eventually left the script of The Ragged Edge, but it helped immensely to get the ball rolling. Three years later and we are still playing the same campaign.

One thing I would highly suggest is that you kill off some of the main characters (Sharidin, Londo, etc.) to allow your players some room to affect the galaxy's fate.

I thought cold equations/ragged edge might be the way to go. I have the main book and cold equations allready, I will just need to snag a copy of the ragged edge.

Thanks.

Player in Demo's campaign here, which is still going strong.

It's gone well-- we're in 2262, and many of the principles are gone, forcing us to take charge, as it were. Many similar events have happened, but to different folks, for vaguely similar reasons.

The ISA's Adira-class flagship Grailseeker is currently searching for a cure to the Drakh plague before it can destroy the population of Centauri Prime. An ancient threat from Eastwards of Centauri space has resurfaced. Lennier has fallen, but for marginally different reasons. Sheridan is gone, as are Londo & G'kar. Chloe Morden has surfaced, daughter of the late Mr., and appears to be something like a techno-mage.

Next session is next Sunday.
