Attacking whilst injured

I am looking and seeing no penalties for an injured person attacking.

Seems to me there should be some negative DM in there someplace.

I think that an injury that would reduce the characters Strength or Dex-
terity would also reduce the relevant modifier, which should make it mo-
re difficult to succeed with an attack.

As your stats go down you lose modifiers. It doesnt seem like much, but if you lose all your END, you are 1 hit away from being knocked out, so we dont need a very detailed penalty system.

If the END goes down to low numbers, then the effect on Fatigue will get pretty difficult as the modifiers will shift. If he runs out of END then the effects will go directly on his DEX and STR respectively, as well as being KOd.

Characters are not rendered unconscious when they reach END 0. That happens when 2 attributes are taken to 0 (incapacitation, which will most often be END and STR or DEX). The unconscious END 0 was from the playtest; it didn't make it into TMB. :)

(I houserule that a character becomes unconscious if they lose all their END in one go; ie, from max to 0.)

A character is seriously wounded if all three physical attributes are damaged (points lost), in which case they can only crawl 1.5m per round and lose their minor action.

Low or 0 END makes recovery if you're seriously injured a precarious affair - left to yourself death will probably come. Medical attention is a necessity!

This is how I read it too. I don't have the books with me, so I can't quote a page number but I believe the following is listed as an optional rule in the TMB:

I like this rule as it lets suprise attacks have a much better chance of taking out an enemy immediately (and potentially silently).

You can get knocked out if you take as much damage as your END in one attack (if you use that optional rule). Otherwise your END have to be 0 as well as DEX or STR (as have been stated).

when you are injured your End and then Str and Dex are actually reduced
therefore the beneficial DM say 0 or +1 drops to become a penalty
