Assualt on Battle Station

Billclo, i was the romulan player in this particular match up and i keep much better notes than my dad(the Dirty Federation).
setup:
fed player 1000 points and required to pay for the base out of that. with that my dad bought the battle station, an old light cruiser escort, a battle frigate, a Constitution class, and a battle cruiser.
the romulans got a 250 point advantage giving a total of 1250. they also goth the advantage of setting up after the feds and 1st turn initiative. i brought a sparrow hawk scout(fire hawk subed in) a standard KR, a battle hawk, a war eagle, a king eagle, and the new heavy dreadnought from fleet update two. i elected to bring all my ships in under cloak.
the battle:
the first several turns consisted of little more than moving as we were too far apart to shoot at one another.
my dad decided, im guessing to try and get behind me, to swing his cruisers out wide. Well, i decided that that was not ok... i had the owl and KR decloak and hit the constitution they took down the shields and scraped some paint due to some lousy plasma rolls on my part. a turn later the three eagles decided to give the battle cruiser a bad day it was crippled by the 2 R torps and the mass of smaller plasmas. however, i decloaked my war eagle just a hair to close and some lucky Phaser 4 bleed through and crits took out the war eagle in one volly!
the next few turns consisted of the constitution harassing my back and the base firing at my ships while recloaking or while cloaked. again some luck on my dads part resulted in my battle hawk being toasted.
the decisive turn was when i decloaked to fire my first substantial volley at the base. i lost out on the initiative roll so the base opened up with its phaser 4's on the king eagle and KR. the eagle died a flaming death and the Kr's Shields dropped. for my fire i used the owl to jam the escorts phaser G's and the FFB's Torps this let the constitution finish off the KR off from behind before it got the chance to fire at the escort. me being down to two ships i knew i wasnt going to take down the base so i decided on having some fun, i fired an appropriate response to the federations Gatling Phasers... the entire arsenal of the CNH 1 plasma R, 2 S, 2 F, and 2 D. needless to say the escorts shields were taken down the hull vaporized and there was still enough plasma to take down the rear shields before the generators collapsed. i recloaked my ships and disengaged over the next couple of turns.
Thoughts
after talking with my dad we both agreeded that we would change the next time we did this setup to defender 1000 points and attacker 1500 points.
