Argos

Does anyone know where i can get hold of a map of Argos. I have the Messantia box set and Road of Kings but I cant find a map.
Also I am just about to start a campaign in Messantia and was wondering if anyone has a link for any low level scenarios which could be used for a port city.

Innsmouth is one of my favorite Cthulhu stories. I ran an "Innsmouth" type scenario in Conan a while back and scared the crap out of my players. :twisted:

I highly recommend getting the old d20 Call of Cthulhu book as it has d20 stats for all the mythos monsters you could ever want to use against your Conan players in a "Against the Darkness" type campaign/scenario. :twisted:

Raven Blackwell also performed a great job adapting Cthulhu d20 monsters for Conan.

I don't think WotC has it anymore. You might try DriveThrogh or RPGNOW to see if they have a PDF copy. It was originally printed back in 2002. :roll:

I acquired it from a friend a long time ago for like $15. I like it, but being D20 makes it lethal and kind of limited to what a player can do (lots of Search rolls usually).

But for monster stats for Conan, I would highly recommend. Interesting stats for certain things in there. I have another D20 book I recommend but I have to find it to remember the name, but it had some fun beastie too. I'll post the name when I think of it.

There's also the "Escape from Innsmouth" supplement from Chaosium (for CoC BRP). The book is definitively worth the look if you can manage to get a hand on it.

I looked through a bunch of my old Conan stuff, but I can't seem to find a good Argos map either. I even looked through my old TSR stuff and couldn't find anything with detail.

The only other thing I can suggest is the world map that came with the Conan GM screen, or the little bit on the world map on the inside front cover in the Road of Kings (which is also the same map on the Mongoose website).

I'll keep looking.

Is there not even a map in the Argos Zingara sourcebook?

Unfortunately, the Argos and Zingara book does not have a map of either nation (surprise, surprise!).

I just went through every page of The Road of Kings and Argos and Zingara and cannot find a map of either nation.
