Aramis: The Traveller Adventure - Now Available

Here is another odd thing about the ships.

The 3000Dton cargo hauler is a tail lander design, why is the bridge offset at 90 degrees to the rest of the ships gravity fields such that you climb down through the deck hatch on the bridge level to find yourself flat on the floor of the cargo level?

Very odd way of doing things :?

I built the buggers based on the original designs... so any wierdness is because of them.
I had to make the two Imperiallines ships bigger though.

As for the 3000d with the bridge 90 deg to the cargo... well my understand is that the grav field in the ship is not in line with the thrust, so I envsioned that the cargo bay is in zero g (so much easier to move cargo...) also if you look at the side view, theres an access tube to the floor of each bay...it not really shown on the deck view very well... in theory you could walk down the walls and stack cargo on the walls....

The crew and passenger decks are in line with thrust though.

Still the crew could use grav booties to walk around the zero g levels to get to the other decks.
Seems a little, erm, crude for an FTL starship.

However this is Traveller after all.

Also as you were restricted by the original designs you are forgiven
