In fairness i think the re-joining of the wargaming and rpg mags means sometimes some games are gonna get squeezed out sometimes.

Hi guys, there is plenty coming up for ACTA but for this month we really wanted to showcase BFE due to the new release.

Nottingham Forest Dee? *giggles* we wont go there :lol:

We are just feeling like the cousin no-one talks about Charlie, with the cancellation of the mini line and nothing in last months S&P, it just doesnt feel like we are even thought about by Mongoose. I keep hearing ohhh wait 'til next month over and over again. We are just feeling alittle left in the dark I think as a whole community.

To be fair, the forest is actually called Sherwood Forest and is still one of the larger forests in England.

kay was up that neck of the woods last week treating a race horse, and training a colt (shes an equine therapist)
 
I was on vacation seeing some friends in notts, on sunday we all went to a car boot sale I found a riding crop for 20p when we were leaving this guy took his wifes leg out (back of the knee) I offered her the use of the riding crop, and he ran faster than she had seen in a long time.
 
I've got to say it, one single B5 ACTA article in this months S&P, negligible coverage in the previous article, NO coverage of the Earth-Centauri war that a load of us piled down to swindon for. I'd like to know just what exactly MGP HQ think they are bloody doing, SUPPORT? YOU CALL THIS SUPPORT? Shame on you all. The sooner I get the last of my figures, the sooner I don't have to have any interaction with MGP at all, the better.

As for MGP getting touchy about who was supposed to write the ECW article; I sincerely hope this is not the reason why we haven't had, if so, then for goodness sake bloody grow-up.

I was quite hopeful at the onset of the miniatures range being axed, despite many others getting upset, but now even I'm shocked at how shoddy the support for this game has gone. It's gone right down the pits.

Thankfully the club I belong to has a good few members, that are decent people with a good dose of common sense, not like MGP HQ it would seem. I'm quite thankful that we should be able to carry on playing this good game without any further "support" from MGP.

What a complete disappointment.
 
While I share a few of your sentiments i think its unnessacary to post them in such a deconsructive manner. Just as you say grow up I say to you GROW UP. crying about it on the boards and calling names and implying that the powers that be at mongoose are incompetent is an inappropriate response. I hope all gets better for you and your feelings heal themselves.
 
Dag'karlove is right. We all knew that the minis line was ending and even if it wasn't stated, the support for the game would thus be less than it had been simply because Mongoose are focusing on other things. I personally think the planned updates that Matt mentioned in other threads are great, i.e. the new Gaim fleet (which they didn't have to provide), the forthcoming painting guide (which technically no longer applies since they don't sell the minis anymore), and the counter pack they have promised, in addition to the events they continue to run / sponsor. For a game that is now nothing but a couple rulebooks I think that's pretty decent myself.
