A Friend of mine is working on custom build Drinax Very High(12+ starting SS) Noble Tables that use A 1D6 to determine the table and A 1D100(1 to 100) to determine the event. She wants a appraisal but I want a unbiased 1, here's the 1st term 1 I rolled

Term 1

Gain service Skills of Admin /0, Tactics -Drinaxian Naval(GM made) and Vacc Suit /0 and would have gained Advocate /0, Carouse /0 and Diplomat /0 f they hadn't been 3 of my starting Skills

Automatically survive, promote and gain Leadership /1, Diplomat /1 and Melee -Blade /1

The event roll is A 6 for Table then A 90+. which means A Dead Relative has left me A Pirate Hunting Fleet

1 2D3+1 and 3D2+1 rolls that both come up A 6 then 4D6+2 roll of A 2,200 nets me up to 6 ships, each massing up to 600 tons individually and up to 2,200 tons in total

I choose 3 400 ton Patrol Corvettes, 2 200 ton Drinax Harriers and 1 600 ton Pirate Hunting Version of The Corsair and I pass The 11+ Advocate Roll on 2D6 +0 for Level /0 and +2 for SS 13 with A 6 and A 4 +2 or 12, and avoid legal trouble with my now dead relatives supposed heir

So can I have a unbiased opinion on this Drinax Very High(12+ starting SS) Noble Generation Method that could have left my character worse then some middle-class merchants, but due to the very high luck I'm faous for got me some of the best results on the tables

Just rolled Term 2's event for A Laugh

Got A 4 for Table then A 2nd 90+. This means that when as I rolled A 70 Million on 3D3+1x1,000,000 that I can either take A Portfolio of my choice worth up to Cr 70,000,000 or roll as normal and hope I don't end up with 1 worth less then Cr 70,000,000

I'm starting to think that I've unknowingly bought and been using loaded dice. But I wouldn't count that as cheating as it wouldn't have been/isn't intentional

Ditch the character and roll a merchant, using the core rule book, that's my advice. You start with a fleet of ships!? Really?!

The possibility of a poor result is irrelevant, because you always get the most uber fantastic rolls ever and by incredible chance manage to start with a setting-breaking level of power.

My unbiased opinion is that if you want to game at this scale, just assign the resources and have at it. Asking 'what do I do about it' when you've YET AGAIN created a way to get blindingly lucky and be instantly overpowered, and then of course got blindingly lucky.... well, the answer is obvious. Either figure out how to play at this level or stop creating the same problem for yourself over and over.

I've tried reasoning with this guy, pointing out the issues with his posts, but this approach seems to encourage him to redouble his effort to post this nonsense. He's also posting on some of the other game forums and unless he's playing with multiple groups 7 days a week it seems unlikely any of these questions relate to actual games, even the 'asking for a friend' posts. What would be ideal is to have Matthew or someone at Mongoose actually moderate the forum, because this is swamping other posts with a non-stop flood of nonsense.

Currently, I think this guy is either trolling us or (more likely, from reading his posts) incapable of behaving reasonably. If the latter, he has my sympathy. But I would really like these boards back as they were.

There are several possible explanations, some of them rather worrying. Attention-seeking behaviour? An attempt to show us all how more gamer he is because his version of the game is so more epic than ours? Troll job?

What's becoming obvious is that he isn't going to start asking sensible questions or writing them in a way that makes them comprehensible.

I've offered what advice I can, which was well-intentioned, but he's not interested.

It is getting irritating, and perhaps its's time for mass use of the ignore function?

It would be helpful to actually post the tables for us to look at, you know?

It probably looks like this

d66

11 100 billion of everything
12-66 200 billion of everything else (with a free 150 billion of everything)

This.

Sure, we can scroll down to find the serious topics but I'd be concerned that the fact that we have to do so might be putting off people from participating in the forum. Coming to the forums every other day and finding six nonsense topics that have flooded out more interesting discussions could eventually have a deleterious effect on participation.

I have suggested to establish a subforum called "JMISBEST asks" to organize this a little bit and to increase the usability of the forum. It would be the best solution in my eyes.
