AoD Help Requested

Evening all. The recent spate of postings, messages etc. and my hopes to get some of my promised material off the stocks and up to MGP has got me thinking and planning. There's an old saying "no man is an island" and this case is no exception. In order to get some of these plans moving I'd like to call upon anyone who is interested for some assistance.

My first project to get squared away is the AoD supplement. What I need are:

1) a few stalwart hands who would be happy to take a fleet or two and work out the stats (having copies of the Conways 1860 and 1906 volumes or early editions of Janes would be useful, but not essential). The French and japanese fleets are the main areas that need developing,.
2) some fresh eyes to read through the stats and new sections that are already done to give them a check-over
3) playtesters to give the new ships and rules a try-out

Volunteering for one of these doesn't mean you can't do two or three if you were happy to do so. If you would like to help drop me a PM.

I'm also after ideas - the current contents list comprises:

New Fleets - Austria, Italy, France, USA, Japan,
New rules for WW1 coastal forces
A new campaign map covering the Adriatic
An operational level campaign system

Is there anything else that AoD players would like to see? if so, post your ideas here, or again drop me a PM.

Ill help but dont have the books to help. If I can get a book or barrow a book Ill be happy to help.

The books aren't essential, since I believe the data needed can be accessed through a hunt in the internet. But having them (or Janes) helps a lot

Ill do the French what format are we working with for the info
Same as you post for stats then you will convert them to game stats.

I now have a strdy crew working on French and Japanese stats - thanks for volunteering chaps!

That just about has the major navies sorted out. However, if anyone would like to work on some of the minor navies (e.g. Spain, Greece, or the South American triumvirate of Argentina, Brazil and Chile) then just shout.

The operational campaign system is under way, and will be using the Goeben chase as its example.

As always, any suggestions for additional material most gratefully received - AOD players, what else would you like to see?

I am, as always, available to provide my editorial insights and support in anything you might need. I have Conways 1906-1921 so I should be able to cover any conversions.
