Anyone want to do a group Legend project?

umm. lol. err.

Well I'm good at proof-reading and throwing alternative ideas out there, as well as fleshing out details and checking spelling and grammar.

Odd job man, that's me :D
 
I am organized and can drive the project forward ... make sure we meet any deadlines. I have a long-reach whip on me at all times :wink:

I can contribute creatively, in terms of background fluff but I am not great artistically.
 
Well, in no particular order, role-call:

Warlock1971 – Supervisor: Planning and deadlines
Bifford – Editor: Proof-reading, editing, alternative ideas, fleshing out details (new forum)
Soltakass – Support and trouble-shooting
Oldtimer – writer (either)
Mage - writer (new forum)
Matt H – Support
Prime_Evil – unspecified, writer?

If anything here is incorrect and/or requires changing, please let me know.


Now that we have established a rough working group, shall we set up our own forum for the project, or use here, or what? I would be in favour of our own forum, but that depends on what the majority want.
 
Cool, I will edit my previous psot and put the votes in brackets after the roles listed for each person.
 
Own forum.

Which I can host if you need me to....if you want a particular domain name someone else would need to buy that though. Alternative there - club together to provide me enough PAYPAL funds to pay for the domain myself.


Its been a while since I checked out free webhosting/forum options, but my host space gives me unlimited data so I already have 4 sites hosted in one place..lol.

Ok, another vote for new forum. I'm sure we can discuss domain names and pay once the vote has been finished. Edited the above post too.
 
Just checking in to say that I can do some rules-checking for you. Not really a playtester since I don't have the time for it, but running through the rules, and pointing out inconsistensies/balance problems and ways to fix 'em would probably be my specialty.

So if you need a Min-Maxer to check your rules for loopholes and errors I'd be happy to lend my skills.
 
If you host it on the server I use then you can have any number of emails such as "bill@1001Legends.co.uk" "bifford@1001Legends.co.uk" etc. then you just have to use a separate email program such as thunderbird to get your mails.

Just a thought ;)
 
With regard a forum, I did set up one about a week ago for the now defunct Starship Troopers miniatures game. I could always modify it to fit for this Legend project?
 
You had both myself and Mage willing to do one, but no one else commented to say "Yes please Bifford" or "Yes please Mage" so I do not know if it is myself or Mage that needs to do the work.

The others who have shown willingness to be in the group made no comment on either of our proposals so we are in limbo :}

Also, the only name so far given as a proposal was 1001Legends. Are there any other name ideas or do we just go for that one?

Ok, please would one of you set up the forum :). Name wise, do you mean forum name or project name? If forum name, then that is as good as any other, as a project name, that might be decided better once we agree on what we are doing.
